What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. Written in plain language.

1. Who we are
Adveda (“Adveda”, “we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship owned by Prabhat Verma, providing performance marketing, website development and creative services in India. We operate the website adveda.in. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Adveda is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect only what we need. The table below lists each item, where it comes from and why.
| Data | How we get it | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Contact or audit form | To address you and reply to your enquiry |
| Phone / WhatsApp number | Contact form, WhatsApp chat, phone call | To call or message you about your enquiry, send a proposal and coordinate work |
| Email address | Contact form, email | To reply, send proposals, invoices and reports |
| Website or Instagram link, service needed, ad budget range, your message | Contact form, quiz | To understand your business and suggest the right plan |
| Business and billing details (business name, address, GSTIN) | When you become a client | To issue invoices and meet tax law |
| Access to your ad, analytics, marketplace or website accounts | Granted by you as a client, as a user role | Only to deliver the agreed services |
| Device and usage data (pages visited, approximate location, browser, referrer) | Cookies and analytics tools, only if enabled and, where required, with your consent | To understand which pages help visitors and to measure our own advertising |
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, passwords, card numbers, bank PINs, Aadhaar or other government ID numbers through the website.
3. Consent
When you submit our contact form you tick a box agreeing that Adveda may contact you about your enquiry. That is the consent we rely on. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@adveda.in or replying “STOP” on WhatsApp. Withdrawing consent stops future contact; it does not affect anything done before you withdrew. For clients, we also process data to perform our contract and to meet legal obligations such as tax records.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Hostinger: website hosting and our business email (hello@adveda.in).
- WhatsApp / Meta: when you message us on WhatsApp or click our WhatsApp button.
- Google: Google Workspace/Gmail tools we use for communication, and Google Analytics or Tag Manager if enabled.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): Meta Pixel, only if enabled, to measure our own ads.
- Scheduling or payment tools (for example Calendly or a payment gateway), only if you choose to use them.
- Government or law enforcement, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store data outside India. Where that happens, we rely on their security commitments and the transfer rules under Indian law.
5. Cookies, analytics and pixels
Our website works without advertising or analytics cookies. If we switch on tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel, we will show a cookie choice banner first where required, and list the tools in our Cookie Policy. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
6. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 12 months after our last conversation, then deleted.
- Client records and invoices: as long as the law requires (tax and accounting records are generally kept for 8 years).
- Analytics data, if enabled: according to the retention setting of the tool, normally not more than 14 months.
- Account access you gave us: removed when the work ends or when you ask.
7. How we protect data
We use HTTPS on the whole website, password-protected accounts with two-step verification where available, limited access on a need-to-know basis, and spam protection on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach happens that affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Rules require.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Email hello@adveda.in with the subject “Privacy request”. We will reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
